Taking in your own items for engraving
We are happy to take in your own items for engraving but this is undertaken strictly at your own risk as we have no control over the quality or suitability of the item and you should ensure adequate insurance for any valuable item entrusted to us.
You should also be aware that not all silver/gold/nickel plated 'gift' items such as photo frames are suitable for engraving and you should check carefully before purchasing. Plating can be of poor quality and can flake off during the engraving process and nothing can be done to prevent this.
Unfortunately, we do not have the facility to accept visitors ad-hoc and so can only receive items via mail or personally by special appointment. You should contact us via our telephone number (07506 662033) for further instruction. You are strongly advised to send items by a 'signed for' delivery method only and not by standard post. Also, check carefully with the delivery service that adequate compensation cover is included if your item is of any value.
We reserve the right to return your item unengraved if in our opinion the item is not suitable either through suspect plating or manufacture or the engraving area is not feasible or we consider that to proceed may cause damage because the item is too delicate.
