About Brighton Engravers
We engrave and provide plaques from plastics and metals such as brass, bronze, Anodised Aluminium and stainless steel etc. (Cut to your requirements - with the exception of stainless steel for which we only have stock sizes at present.)
There are several methods of engraving - Scratch Engraving otherwise known as Diamond Drag which is suitable for metals only (quite light but excellent for detailing work, achieved by scratching the surface with a diamond). Deep Engraving left plain or deep engraving with the letters infilled with paint (Suitable for metals, wood and plastics) and Laser Engraving which is suitable for metals, plastics, wood, glass and stone and can achieve incredible detail.
Not all types of engraving will suit all materials and we can advise you as to what will be best.
We also undertake engraving on cylindrical objects such as pewter tankards and glassware etc.
Other items in our range of expertise include: Pet tags, identity tags, name badges, key fobs, pens, jewellery, etc.
Laser Technology
As mentioned, we like to keep up with modern technology and use the latest laser technology to enhance our workshop. This enables us to achieve rapid turnaround with products such as wood, acrylic, glass and plastics, where deep engraving and cut out times are incredibly fast.
These machines also give very good performance on items such as stainless steel, aluminium, and suchlike. (They can engrave metals such as stainless steel or anneal them to produce a "carbonised" (Black) finish on the surface which does not rub off and is almost like "printing" on metal - fantastic detail can be acheived using this method).
